Howdy!

Thank you for your interest in Medicated Meditations group sessions! Medicated Meditations is a group course where I teach students how to meditate and guide them on how to use marijuana to help *enhance* the overall effects and goals of meditation, which are to achieve greater mental balance, strengthen your ability to focus, and help spiritually heal and cleanse your wounds and traumas of the past. While meditation alone has positive benefits, the use of marijuana, applied in a controlled fashion, offers the holistic (medicinal) effects of relieving numerous symptoms of C-PTSD such as muscle tension, body tightness, anxiety, nightmares, general stress, and emotional dysregulation. Marijuana has the stigma of being a substance which encourages deviant, negative, and asocial behavior however as a regular user myself, I can say that this is absolutely not true! When used in a medicinal/therapeutic application, marijuana can provide many positive healing effects to many of the ailments that we suffer from daily, such as stress, and most importantly, it is organic. In my past life, I was a shaman and healer of the people who healed through herbs and spiritual strength – walking righteously with God and helping others to correct their walk, both literally and physically, like a “spiritual chiropractor” if you will.

Why medicate with Marijuana?

While western medicine should be praised for the (medical) advancements and achievements accomplished thus far, we must keep in mind that in healing, our goal is to reach a healthy state and not require medicine/treatment any longer or if we do, it is only maintenance. In my spiritual practice, I teach the Mind-Body-Spirit connection and this information is incorporated into our meditation sessions whereby we focus on alignment and homeostasis between all 3 of these connections. The use of marijuana aids in this process by helping us to elevate our conscious which makes us more aware of the factors that are negatively impacting us in life that would alter our Mind-Body-Spirit connection, and how, during our sessions, we can work on spiritually cleansing ourselves of these “spiritual weeds” (pun partially intended).

How does the course work?

Medicated Meditations is a 2 hour course where we start with a 45 minute presentation on the differences between spirituality and religion, then dive into application by way of me leading a spiritual meditation session where we elevate prior to me leading the meditation exercise. During the exercise, I will teach how to help clear your mind and focus during meditation and how to control the (additional) stimuli you receive while medicated. Once guided through this meditation session, this will provide a template to help start and/or sharpen your meditation practice to heal and balance your Mind-Body-Spirit connection. Medicating is not required to join these sessions, however, it is greatly suggested as it is best to learn how to manage the medication under the supervision of a spiritualist learned and experienced in the practice.

How do we get the material?

In regards to the “medicated” portion of our meditations, students will need to purchase material from the dispensary prior to the course the preferred strain(s) of choice that I recommend is Indicas or Indica-dominant hybrid strains. Indica strains are primarily more relaxing strains that promote slowing down and relaxing of the mind, body, and spirit, which allows us to better focus on the stress factors that are requiring us to “speed up”, which I refer to as “spiritual weeds”. We can then identify these factors and work on spiritually healing these traumas to achieve higher spiritual enlightenment and balance, allowing us to be more effective individuals in our day to day life. Students may bring Sativa material to the course, but you may have a harder time focusing and following along, as Sativa dominant strains cause more stimulation while our goal is to pursue less stimulation to gain sharper focus.
